Spotify…Inspire your Creative Side

I LOVE music. It makes the day brighter. Seriously. :-) If you need a little pick-me-up during the day or just want something to make the work go a little faster, I highly recommend using Spotify (https://www.spotify.com/us). My brother recommended it to me as something better than Pandora and, while Pandora is nice, I fully agree that Spotify has more options.

Here’s why I love Spotify and why any web designer should too…

1. Spotify allows you to find your favorite artists and then listen to radio stations based on that artist. This allows you to learn about other musicians similar to the ones you like. Unlike Pandora, there is more freedom in switching around…you can listen to all the albums on Spotify for that artist too.
2. Spotify is in the cloud, so your favorite music selections go with you. I have the software on my laptop and on my iPad and, with an internet connection, both stay up to date when I like certain songs / artists / albums
3. Spotify makes it easy to listen to music. Music helps to relieve stress and calm nerves. Web design is very detailed work and can be a combination of technical prowess, problem-solving skills and creative inspiration. Thus, music is pretty important for creative inspiration and also as as stress release from the detail coding work.
